We’re excited to welcome a major new investment in our city! On Friday, June 27, the City of Apache Junction joined WW Clyde for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of their brand-new Southwest Division Headquarters.
Located at 1353 S. Vista Rd., this state-of-the-art facility spans 38,000 square feet and includes both office and shop space. The new building is now home to WW Clyde’s regional operations, supporting projects throughout Arizona.
WW Clyde is a civil contracting company specializing in highways, pipelines, mines, and solar farms. They’ve been part of the Apache Junction community since 2020, when they acquired Blount Contracting. Since then, they’ve worked on several key projects in the area — including improvements at Flatiron Park.
“WW Clyde is one of the leading employers in Apache Junction, and I’m pleased to see their continued investment in our community,” said Mayor Chip Wilson. “Our business community is growing, and this is another great step forward.”
Currently, about 50 employees work from the new facility, and the company plans to grow to 75 employees over the next few years. In total, more than 500 WW Clyde employees across the Phoenix region report to this Apache Junction location.
“This new space allows us to better serve our customers and expand our workforce in the Valley,” said Dustin Olson, President of WW Clyde. “We’re grateful for the city’s support and excited to grow here.”
