Expect delays traveling through the work zone

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following State Route 238 (Maricopa Road) lane restrictions west of the City of Maricopa for pavement maintenance:
- East- and westbound SR 238 will be narrowed to one lane at Garvey Avenue, between mileposts 42 and 41, from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 7.
- NOTE: Flagging operations will direct drivers through these restrictions.
ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
