Plan for lane restrictions on north- and southbound SR 187 on the Gila River Indian Community beginning Nov. 3

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following lane restrictions on State Route 187, between the Interstate 10 and SR 387 junction (milepost 186) and SR 87 (milepost 192), beginning Monday, Nov. 3, as a pavement rehabilitation project gets underway on the Gila River Indian Community.
Motorists can expect the following restrictions:
- North- and southbound lane restrictions on SR 187 between mileposts 186 and 192 daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday
- A flagging operation within the work zone
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone
Motorists are encouraged to use SR 387 to avoid construction traffic delays.
Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
