As of Tuesday, August 5, 2025, 9:57:22 PM, voter turnout for the Proposition 495 San Tan Valley incorporation measure was 22.41%, with 12,343 ballots cast out of 55,081 registered voters. Support for incorporation totaled 8,215 votes (66.6%), while opposition accounted for 4,123 votes (33.4%). Early voting dominated participation at 85.1% of all ballots, compared to 14.9% cast on Election Day, with no provisional ballots recorded.
The measure passed in 15 of 16 precincts, with Valley of the Sun the only area to vote No — and by the narrowest margin of 49.7% Yes to 50.3% No — making the result nearly unanimous across the region. The strongest support came from Bella Vista (71.8% Yes), along with nine other precincts above two-thirds approval: San Tan Park, Circle Cross Ranch, Skyline Ranch, Schnepf South, Johnson Ranch East, Ironwood Crossing East, Schnepf North, Queen Creek, and San Tan Heights. Turnout ranged from 16.84% in Queen Creek to 37.41% in Johnson Ranch. While Johnson Ranch (64.8% Yes) ranked 13th of 16 precincts overall — third-lowest among the 15 that supported the measure — and Copper Basin Southeast (64.0% Yes) ranked 15th overall and lowest among supporters, both still reflected strong majorities. Overall, the results show broad and decisive geographic backing for incorporation.
