Just after 7pm San Tan Firefighters battled a 2 story house fire in Johnson Ranch.
Firefighters were met with extreme heat and zero visibility while working in the 2nd story of the home.
Ultimately the fire was contained to 2 upstairs bedrooms with smoke and heat damage to much of the 2nd story.
One victim was transported with minor burn injuries and 3 cats were rescued.
According to the reporting party the fire initiated while the victim was using FaceTime and the iPad overheated, sparking, and igniting the bedding.
