AZDPS Troopers Target Speeders on I-10

Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers conducted a Casa Grande speed enforcement operation on December 10, 2025. The eight-hour detail resulted in 48 citations and one arrest. Highway Patrol officers from District 6 focused their efforts along Interstate 10 and State Route 347.

The operation ran from 4 p.m. to midnight. It was part of a Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Speed Enforcement Detail.

Enforcement Results Show Speeding as Primary Concern

Troopers made 39 traffic stops during the detail. Of the 48 total citations issued, 38 (79%) were for speeding. Officers also issued two seatbelt citations and eight for other violations.

The operation led to one arrest. Furthermore, troopers recovered one stolen vehicle.
