Arizona Troopers Out of Casa Grande Recover $187,000 in Stolen Goods, Arrest Driver

ELOY, AZ – Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers arrested a semi-truck driver and recovered $187,000 worth of stolen goods during a traffic stop on Interstate 10 on September 11, 2025.

The incident began when AZDPS Operations Communications Center received a report about a semi-truck carrying stolen cargo from Dona Ana County, New Mexico. A Highway Patrol detective located the westbound vehicle on I-10 outside of Eloy, and troopers from Casa Grande conducted the traffic stop.

The driver was taken into custody without incident. The stolen goods, which included copper materials, were recovered as part of the ongoing investigation.
