Public Notice from the Pinal County Board of Supervisors:

The Pinal County Board of Supervisors will appoint members to serve on the San Tan Valley Town Council to fill seven (7) seats pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes 9-231(A), until the next regularly scheduled election in 2026, pursuant to applicable provisions of Title 9, Arizona Revised Statutes.

This appointment process ensures continuous, effective local governance until voters elect councilmembers.

Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes 9-232(A), to be eligible for appointment to the San Tan Valley Town Council, applicants must:

  • Be a legal resident of Arizona residing within the incorporated boundaries of the Town of San Tan Valley;
  • Have resided within the incorporated boundaries of the Town of San Tan Valley for at least one (1) year;
  • Be a registered voter in Arizona;
  • Be able to read and write the English language; and
  • Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
