Just after 1 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, AJPD responded to a 911 call reporting a single-vehicle crash near Idaho Rd. and 16th Ave. A pickup truck had collided with a block wall in a residential neighborhood.
Officers arrived on scene along with Superstition Fire & Medical District and located two adult occupants, one male and one female. Both were transported to a local hospital, where they later passed away from their injuries. One of the individuals is believed to have been the driver. No suspects are being sought at this time. Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of those involved.
