GOLD CANYON, AZ – The Wave Cave Trail parking lot at Carney Springs Road will permanently close on March 2. The closure also affects the Carney Springs Trail lot at that location.
As a result, Wave Cave Trail access will move to the Lost Goldmine East Trailhead parking area. This is the Arizona State Land Department parking area for the Lost Goldmine Trail.
Wave Cave Trail hikers should park at the Lost Goldmine East Trailhead on Peralta Road beginning March 2.
Visitors are reminded to park only in designated areas.
