Maricopa, AZ – A Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant is heading to Maricopa. The Maricopa Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the plans during their October 27, 2025, meeting.
Where You’ll Find It
The restaurant will sit on 1.47 acres near the intersection of West Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway and North Stonegate Road. The 7,644-square-foot spot will serve up Buffalo Wild Wings’ signature chicken wings, burgers, and other favorites.

Senior Planner Derek Scheerer presented the project to commissioners. Peter Vesecky of Vespro Professional Services is the applicant for the restaurant.
Plenty of Parking
The site will have 120 parking spaces, which is more than city rules require. The restaurant’s traffic engineer said this many spots are needed to handle the crowds Buffalo Wild Wings typically draws. The property can’t share parking with neighbors, so everything had to fit on the 1.47-acre site. The restaurant will have two entrances off a private drive on the south side.

Patio Positioned for Comfort
Commissioner Robert Klob praised where the patio will go. He thanked the applicant “for putting the patio on the west side so that everyone can sit out there and watch games and have a cold beverage in the summer and not be hit with the blaring summer heat.”
The building will shield patio diners from Arizona’s intense afternoon sun.
Timeline and Public Process
The city sent notices to nearby property owners on October 9, 2025, and posted signs at the site on October 10, 2025. No one submitted comments about the project.
Scheerer said staff spent nearly a year working with the restaurant’s team to fit everything on the site. “It was a Herculean effort to be able to fit all of this inside this space,” he said.
The plans still need a few finishing touches before the project gets final approval. Once the remaining items are addressed and everything meets city codes, construction can begin. The restaurant will be built all at once rather than in phases.
