APACHE JUNCTION, AZ — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon following a collision with a sedan at the intersection of West Superstition Boulevard and North Delaware Drive.
The crash occurred around 2:36 p.m. on October 14th, 2025, when an adult female driving a sedan collided with an adult male operating a motorcycle. Apache Junction Police Department and Superstition Fire & Medical Rescue responded to the scene.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The sedan driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Police say impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
The collision prompted road closures in the area, with westbound traffic on Superstition Boulevard shut down at Delaware Drive and southbound traffic on Delaware closed at Superstition.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
