Pinal County Issues Corrected Property Tax Bills After Rate Error

Pinal County property owners will receive corrected tax bills for the 2025 tax year following a clerical error that resulted in an incorrect primary property tax levy rate being applied to bills already mailed to residents.

County Treasurer Mike McCord and County Manager Leo Lew announced that Pinal County was informed of the error on September 15th by the Arizona Department of Revenue. The good news: the corrected rate is lower than originally billed.

What Property Owners Need to Know:

  • Already paid? You’ll automatically receive a refund check for the overpayment
  • Haven’t paid yet? Wait for your new bill in the mail
  • Mortgage escrow? Corrections will be made directly with your mortgage company
  • No penalties: All affected parcels receive an automatic due date extension with no late payment interest

New tax bills are being generated and will be available online at treasurer.pinal.gov/Parcelinquiry as they become available.

The Treasurer’s Office is working to issue corrected bills as quickly as possible and thanks residents for their patience during this process.
